About Peggy L. Gratton

Peggy lived most of her life in the small town of Ripon, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1980 after taking every art class the school offered — thanks to Miss K and Mr. Frank.

She continued her adult life going to college and receiving her BSN, then becoming a Registered Nurse and serving the local community for 32 years. But her art stayed with her, growing as she took classes, or she simply used it as a stress reliever.

In 2007, she, her husband and three sons moved to Bettendorf, Iowa after her husband was relocated for his job. Many enjoyed her art through the years. Peggy displayed her art at The Bucktown Center for the Arts in Davenport, Iowa. When it closed, she continued her passion in her at-home studio and continues to pursue opportunities as they present themselves.

"I get inspiration for my art and writing from things all around me, my family, others’ pets, flowers, landscapes and so much more. Everywhere I look I see a painting."
